Redwood Park Vets was established in September 1983 and has been an important section of Redwood Park Golf Club growing from a small group to the present time with a membership of over 150.

 

Membership requirements to become a Redwood Park Vet are:-

1.   Must be a financial member of Redwood Park Golf Club as either a Full or Midweek Member.

2.   Age 55 at last Birthday

3.   A spouse of a vet member under the age of 55 is entitled to Veteran Membership as long as a member of  Redwood Park Golf Club.

 

Membership fee is $5.00 (a one off) subscription as long as a financial member of Redwood Park.

 

The Vets Section holds a Scramble every Thursday teeing off from 8 to 9 a.m.  Scramble fee $3.00 per player.

Results and prizegiving at end of days play.  Catering & bar facilities are available.

 

Redwood Park Vets are also part of the Western Districts Vets circuit which plays each Monday teeing off from

8 - 9 a.m.

Four Clubs form Westen Vets, namely Redwood, Muriwai, Waitakere & RNZAF.  Each club hosts a day - usually Redwood the first Monday in the month with Waitakere, Muriwai & RNZAF each taking a turn of hosting duities at their respective clubs.

 

The Vets Section is a friendly group who enjoy a good day of golf and the companionship of each other.
